Hello! I’m Sofia

Hello! I’m Sofia, and thanks for visiting my blog!

I’ve been writing on here since July 2012, and initially it started out as a place where I could write about my trials and tribulations in the world of sewing and making clothes. Now it’s not only an online platform for my sewing escapades, but I write a bout Bristol, my love of the city and it’s independent nature, and life in general.

I’ve lived in Bristol for ten years now, I came to study Italian and Portuguese, and loved it so much I couldn’t bring myself to leave. I work at a prestigious marketing agency right in the heart of old Bristol – St Pauls to be more specific – and absolutely love it. In my spare time you’ll find me either sewing, blogging, doing yoga or just chilling at home (probably watching Netflix…)

With this blog I want to show you not only my favourite things about this great city, but a little peak in to my life as I wander through it, hopefully in a sequined dress and sparkly shoes and with a great big smile on my face.

A sneak peak in to the things I love:

  • sequins
  • nutella (I have such a weakness for this…)
  • sewing
  • yoga
  • riding my beloved red bike on a sunny day around Bristol
  • vintage clothes shopping
  • spiced rum and cloudy apple juice
  • chilling on the sofa watching nature programs with my boyfriend
  • sunshine
  • snuggly jumpers
  • shoes
  • Thai food (Green curry is the best!)
  • silks

Want to know even more? You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and also on Flickr. Add me and say hello!

Big love

Sofia x
